Autumn parallel/2010
Irene Rasmussen & Ramzi Hassan
3D in Design
The aim is teaching students using new methods based on computer visualizations and VR techniques for landscape architectural design and planning. Students will use 3D modelling and visualization techniques as a supportive tool for the design of a space. More specifically, the course will focus on the following subjects:
- Introducing advanced computerized visualization techniques and Virtual Reality as a tool for studying space formation.
- Introducing new methods for interacting with a design. Virtual interactions with a design will provide routines for modifying and enhancing a design in a flexible way.
- The course will focus on studying intuitive methods for working with spaces in a 3D computerized system environment for landscape architecture and planning.
- VR-Lab will provide access to the latest advanced visualization tools to create immersive and interactive environments.
